Kanaal Labs builds booking software used by 4,000+ independent venues across the Benelux. We're hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a small, senior team where your work ships to real customers every week. You'll own problems end-to-end, from understanding the need to measuring the outcome.
We are a multilingual workplace: English is our working language, and Dutch or Arabic is a plus. Newcomers to the Netherlands are explicitly welcome — we help with relocation paperwork, BSN registration and the 30% ruling where eligible.
What you'll do
- Lead the migration of our dashboard to Next.js App Router
- Build and document components in our design system
- Pair with designers on accessibility and performance
- Mentor two mid-level engineers
What we're looking for
- 5+ years building production React apps
- Strong TypeScript and CSS fundamentals
- Care for accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and web performance
- Right to work in the EU, or eligibility for a highly-skilled migrant visa
